This series offers prompts to facilitate new ways to write haiku and publishes the best of submissions on our social media pages. Take a look at our Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter pages for inspiration and submit your own poetry for a chance to be a featured.
The Virgilio Virtual Haiku OPen Mic
Our bimonthly virtual open mic features both local and nationally renowned haiku poets and a chance for you to show your best work. Catch our next reading on June 10th, 2023.

NIck Virgilio Performance Series presents: Sawako Nakaysu
Founded to honor Nick Virgilio (1928-1989), a Camden-based poet who worked primarily in English-language haiku, this series features authors who work at the intersection of the page and performance, with influences from haiku or other Japanese poetic traditions.

We provide funding and/or grant development for a variety of Jersey based programming and would love the the chance to discuss your ideas. Classes proposal have included technical writing, fiction & poetry workshops, writing for media and a guide to local publishing.
