Healing Through Writing

Our haiku classes for elementary and middle school-aged children offer Camden youth the opportunity to receive early creative writing education and to learn to love writing, building resilience in processing emotions through pondering word choice and self-expression. Writing haiku (typically short three-line poems) allows children to develop therapeutic coping mechanisms and foundational communication skills with few words.
